Benromach 50YO
Custom glass design
Our most recent project for Benromach Distillery involves the pinnacle of their whisky range. The individually numbered Benromach 50 Years Old has a custom glass design which we designed with Brodie Nairn of Glasstorm. Each bottle incorporates the use of a Battuto technique – (meaning struck or beaten). A cold working finishing treatment that uses a grinding wheel to mark the surface of the glass. The marks are made to differing depths and overlap irregularly to create a faceted or hammered metal effect.Due to the hand-finished process, each bottle is unique making it a truly one-of-a-kind piece. A perfect representation of the handmade-focused brand position we created for Benromach.
