When it rains, GORE
For over decade we’ve helped Gore-Tex create their Global Collections – invaluable sales and specification tools for garment designers at the world’s leading outdoor and lifestyle brands. Originally our challenge was a technical one – to curate and distribute a collection containing 250,000 fabrics across the globe. Achieving this meant completely reimagining how and where the collections were manufactured, how technical data was integrated into the design, and how to present each product brand in a coherent way. From then each iteration of the collection has been an exploration of usability, sustainability, and impact. We’ve created bespoke graphics and iconography to aid navigation and discovery, digital models that allow customers to see the qualities of each Gore material in 3D before ordering samples, and reduced the scale, weight and waste associated with the collection – reducing its impact to the business and the planet by over 1/3.
