Banking on digital.
The UK Green Investment Bank is the first of its kind in the world, dedicated to supporting infrastructure initiatives that help the environment. We helped them build and communicate their brand, with digital at its heart.
In 2014, we evolved the bank’s brand position in line with its progress, creating visual and verbal identity guidelines across all brand communications for discerning audiences including investors, policy makers and specialist media. We then delivered various high profile projects and campaigns, including a new corporate website.
Our core thought at the heart of all digital communications was to deliver concise, engaging messages that demonstrated the environmental and community benefits realised by the bank's investments.
Ongoing content creation - including case studies featuring infographics, photography, film and animation - played a key role in positioning the bank as an authority in the renewables sector. Rich content is vital to bringing information to life. It was also important to give GIB a forum to promote its thought leadership credentials.
We helped boost social media presence during a time of transformation for the bank:
- 2.2% engagement rate on Twitter
- Increased social traffic by 277%
- Increased traffic to the website by 36%
Promoted social content campaigns drove positive engagement among hard-to-reach audiences.
- Improved positive sentiment
- Achieved a 10.5% organic and 6.7% promoted engagement rate on Twitter
