Provenance is key to food consumer buying decisions these days. Most supermarkets cater for this by throwing in a Scottish Saltire or a Union Jack but we worked with Enterprise Foods to take this to a new, more meaningful level.
We developed the Truly Local brand as a pilot concept that sources suppliers of high quality local produce within 30 miles of individual stores.
This promotes sustainable food production, reduces food miles and supports the local economy. The initiative has been rolled out in local food stores in Scotland and northern England.More
