Heverlee is a Belgian beer whose origins date back almost 1,000 years at the Abbey of the Order of Premontre just outside Leuven. It's here that the monks, in 1129, first developed the light drinking beer that would later inspire the creation of Heverlee.
Returning to his birthplace of Leuven, Heverlee’s master brewer embarked on a mission to rediscover and recreate this classic bygone taste. Exploring the abbey library he learned of a light, fresh tasting beer and used ancient descriptions to brew Heverlee.
D8 developed Heverlee’s brand positioning and visual identity guidelines as well as art directing an image library and delivering multiple on and off trade activation including packaging and campaigns.
