We created the brand and packaging for a new addition to the burgeoning luxury English sparkling wine scene. Bluestone Vineyard is a small family business situated in Wiltshire, not far from Stonehenge. The colour palette is inspired by the colours found on the farm's resident peacock’s tail; vibrant blues, deep purples and stunning pinks. We drew a bespoke peacock roundel and chose a modern sans serif typeface called FS Siena, which was designed and created in England specifically for the luxury goods market. On pack, we display the vineyard name in large, celebratory type, using visual and verbal language cues that speak to hearts, minds and palettes. Packaging details include a modern, abstract fluted peacock tail, inspired by the fan shape and the graphic dot pattern which appears on their feathers. This features on a branded closure and cork detail, printed foil and a bespoke foiled neck seal displaying an icon roundel. For the label itself, we designed a simple rectangle shape, printed on Fedrigoni Constellation Jade Silk with peacock blue and matt black foils.
