About D8
D8, founded in 1999 and still privately owned, is a 60-strong multidisciplinary creative team with studios in Amsterdam, Glasgow and Hong Kong. With a comprehensive in-house offering covering brand identity, campaigns, digital, packaging, film, motion and experiential we work with a diverse range of clients including Angostura, the BBC, The Edrington Group, Glasgow School of Art, Gordon and Macphail, GORE-TEX, Johnstons of Elgin, AIA, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and Spotify.
The role
As a brand designer at D8 you will create and craft outstanding ideas for an enviable list of high profile clients. As part of our team in Glasgow you will have the unique opportunity to quickly make your mark by helping us deliver creative excellence across a wide range of projects.
As part of the wider connected D8 network you will also collaborate with our Amsterdam and Hong Kong studios, participating in our shared creative initiatives.
Your profile
4+ years of relevant branding / creative agency experience
Excellent design, verbal, organisational and time management skills
A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual skills and a sharp eye for aesthetics and typography
A demonstratable understanding of working with brand strategy
Experienced in all relevant design software
Experience with either packaging design, motion graphics or a working understanding of digital would be considered a plus
